Papa John's introduces XL Monster Toppings pizza

Papa John's XL Monster Toppings pizza is 33 percent bigger than Papa John’s large pizza with more toppings.

Papa John’s has created a new pizza size, the Papa John's XL Monster Toppings pizza. The extra-large pizza is 33 percent bigger than Papa John’s large pizza with more toppings, according to a company press release. The pizza includes a 16-inch crust layered with tomato sauce, mozzarella cheese, large pepperoni, oversized sausage and an additional layer of Italian sausage.

"We're satisfying oversized cravings this fall by giving customers our XL Monster Toppings pizza, perfect for friends, family and football gatherings," Papa John's Senior Vice President of Marketing Robert Thompson said. "And there's always the option to up your game by adding Garlic or Cinnamon Knots."

This limited-time offer runs Sept. 28 through Oct. 25, the release stated. Papa John's XL Monster Toppings pizza sells for $12.
