Papa John's launches Spicy Meatball pizza

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Papa John's announced its second new specialty pizza offer of 2005, the Spicy Meatball pizza.

According to a news release, the pie combines Italian-seasoned meatballs, onions and green peppers, a bold and spicy tomato sauce and topped with Parmesan-garlic seasoning. The limited-time promotion will sell for $11.99.

The new pie will get TV ad support, which will include the '70s hit song "That's The Way I Like It," by K.C. and the Sunshine Band.
