Papa John's names international marketing chief

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Papa John's International Inc. has named Tim Scott to the newly created position of vice president of marketing, for the company's international division. Scott, who will report to international division president Robb Chase, will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of Papa John's international marketing efforts.
Scott most recently served as senior vice president of sales and marketing for horse-track operator Churchill Downs Inc. from 2004 to 2006.
Scott has held several management positions in the food-service sector, including vice president of marketing and advertising for Long John Silver's from 1997 to 1999, and the top marketing post for KFC Canada from 1994 to 1995. From 1990 to 1993, Scott served as senior director of international marketing for KFC where he supported marketing efforts in more than 70 countries.
