Papa John's offering free BlackBerries — but not on pizza

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Papa John's is running a limited-time promotion offering customers a chance to get a free BlackBerry 7100g wireless handheld device if their online pizza order includes two 20-ounce beverages, a side item and a commitment to a 2-year voice and data service agreement with PageMaster.

According to a news release, the popular communication device is a combination personal organizer, cell phone, e-mail and text messaging tool that also surfs the Internet. The device is free after participants apply for a $150 rebate.

The release did not say when the promotion ends.
