WASHINGTON, Pa.—Eleven Greek fraternities and sororities at Washington & Jefferson College have partnered with a local Papa John's store in a fund-raising effort for a local park.
According to The Observer-Reporter, on Oct. 29-30, 20 percent of the cost of each pizza ordered with the catchphrase, "This one is for East Washington," will be donated to renovate a playground in the borough.
Alan Coneybeer, the Papa John's unit manager, said the shop contributes to similar fund-raisers regularly.
According to the report, members of the Greek groups came up with the pizza-for-playground equipment idea.
