Papa John's Pizza to widen China expansion

Shanghai Daily:Papa John's plans to accelerate its expansion in China's coastal region next year.

The chain, which opened its first China restaurant in Shanghai last October, plans to open 200 stores on the eastern seaboard within 10 years.

"An increasing number of Chinese have developed a taste for pizza. It is good timing for Papa John's to expand its market," said Chu Liansheng, general manager of Shanghai Bangyuehan Catering Management Co., Ltd., a franchisee of Papa John's International.
