Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Poland are the latest stops on Papa John's international development trek, with agreements signed for new units in all three countries, a news release said.
The first of 16 new restaurants in Kazakhstan and 23 restaurants in Poland will open in a few months, along with unknown number of sites in Kyrgystan. All stores will be under the franchise ownership of PJ Western.
"We believe our success in Russia will transfer to Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Poland," PJ Western co-owner and CEO Chris Wynne said in the release.
The chain also has had success with its Eastern European unit in Belarus, the release said.
