Papa Murphy's tests the delivery waters via Amazon Prime

Seven Papa Murphy outlets in Oregon are testing delivery of the chain's take-and-bake products with Amazon Prime members in Portland and Seattle, according to a news release.

"Our product is uniquely suited for delivery because, unlike a cooked pizza, it arrives fresh for customers to bake easily at home when it fits their schedule," Papa Murphy's Interim CEO and Chair Jean Birch, said in a news release.
                                                                                                                             
Prime members in the two cities can use the Prime Now or Amazon mobile apps or place orders via Amazon.com and also track the delivery. 

"Our goal is to allow people to enjoy a high-quality meal hot out of their oven without having to leave their house," Birch added. "We're here to make life a little simpler — with really delicious food.”

No further information was provided about the tests' timeline nor what type of performance might trigger a chain-wide delivery initiative.
