Parents magazine names Uno Chicago Grill a Best Bet

BOSTON — To help parents find the best bet for eating out with kids, Parents magazine put more than 50 full-service and buffet-style restaurant chains to the test, evaluating the elements that contribute to a great night out for families with children. The magazine ranked Uno Chicago Grill among its top 10 Best Family Restaurants at No. 4.
For kids, Parents quizzed restaurants on their crayon quotient, since pre- and post-dinner coloring can be a fun diversion. One of the most popular activities for kids at Uno is the Make Your Own Pizza option: Children are given aprons, pizza dough, sauce and toppings. From those, they can make their own creations, which are baked and brought back to the table for dinner.
For parents, the magazine asked about reservation policies that prevent long waits and looked for adequate changing stations, accommodations for children with food allergies and menus with healthier options, as well as being trans-fat free.
