Peter Piper Pizza's CMO named as president

Phoenix-based Peter Piper Inc. has named Charles Bruce as its new president. Bruce has been the company's chief marketing officer for the past three years, according to the Phoenix Business Journal.

As CMO, he spearheaded a strategy that resulted in 29 consecutive quarters of same-store sales growth.

Prior to joining Peter Piper, he was the senior vice president of marketing at Salsarita's. He's also held executive-level marketing positions at Captain D's, Damon's Wendy's and Pizza Hut.

Peter Piper is owned by private equity firm Acon Investments LLC and entails 34 company restaurants and 101 franchised locations, including 45 in Mexico.
