Pie Five has launched its new Cheddar Bacon Pie-tato, a combination of mozzarella and cheddar cheeses, bacon and red skin potatoes on a pan crust and topped with sour cream and chives.
"For crying out loud, who turns a baked potato into a pizza…with sour cream and chives and the whole works?" VP of Marketing Christina Coy said in a news release. "Fortunately, our chefs did, and the only thing I can say is, don't diss it till you taste it. I wasn't so sure either, until I tried it myself. I'll be darned if they didn't create something seriously amazing."
The limited time offering is available at Pie Five restaurants nationwide through Dec. 21.
