Pie Five begins global expansion in Pakistan
Pie Five Pizza Co. is going international, announcing that it's opening its first global location in Pakistan next year, followed by as many as 40 international restaurant locations over the next seven years.
A news release said that Ali Shahid Butt and his partners at AR Pizza, LLC, signed the agreement for the locations outside of the U.S. The company has also committed to opening a number of East Coast U.S. locations of the chain and already owns 47 Popeye's Chicken locations and eight Arby's restaurants.
"Ali and his team have already built a very successful international and domestic restaurant organization," said Rave Restaurant Group CEO Scott Crane in the release. Rave owns, franchises and supplies more than 300 Pie Five and Pizza Inn locations. "We look forward to partnering with them to bring dozens of Pie Five locations to Pakistan. We are also actively pursuing other international deals."
The franchisee said that the Pie Five custom-your-pizza concept will be a winner with Pakistanis.
"Pie Five offers a unique concept featuring high-quality ingredients and a superior customer service model that will be well-received in the Pakistani market," AR Pizza Partner Ali Shahid Butt said in the release.
