Pie Five moves into Austin area

Dallas-based Pie Five opens its newest location next week in the Austin-area suburb of Pflugerville, which a news release said is across the street from the Hawaiian Falls water and adventure park.

"Pie Five's fun, fast and fresh flavors will be a perfect fit for the area," said franchise partners Chirag Patel and Sudesh Patidar.

As part of the opening celebration, a news release said Pie Five will donate half of the proceeds from pre-opening events to Hendrickson High School.

Pie Five, owned by  RAVE Restaurant Group, has 90 locations in 24 states and was recently named to the 2016 Fast Casual Top 100 Movers & Shakers.
