Pie Five Pizza Co. celebrates birthday with dollar deals

Texas-based Pie Five Pizza Co. is honoring its first birthday with a five-day celebration. Starting today, customers will have the opportunity to enjoy $1 specials by joining the Pie Five e-mail club, liking the Pie Five Facebook page or following the brand on Twitter.

"This has been an amazing year for Pie Five, and we could not have done it without our incredible guests," said Charlie Morrison, president and CEO of parent company Pizza Inn Holdings Inc. "We want customers to celebrate this milestone birthday celebration with us during five fantastic days, each paying tribute to a part of the menu that put us on the map."

Pie Five first opened in Fort Worth, Texas, and now has six units across the Dallas-Forth Worth area. The seventh unit will open soon on the University of Texas-Arlington campus.

The daily $1 deals will be available through June 4 and will be announced daily on the brand's social media sites.
