Pie Five Pizza Co. plugs into the Music City

July 8, 2014

On Friday, Pie Five Pizza Co. will open the first of its 10 planned locations in Nashville, Tenn. The first restaurant is located in The Crossings retail strip at 2266 Lebanon Pike, about 5 miles south of the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center.

According to a news release, the 10 franchised units were awarded in November to Rich Davis and Ron Payne. Davis previously brought the Schlotzsky’s brand to Nashville.

“The first thing you notice about Pie Five is the cool look and feel of the restaurant. Then you see how fresh our ingredients are and how quickly we can make your own delicious, customized pizza. It’s unlike any other pizza place I’ve ever seen,” he said in the release.

The Crossings location will open July 11 at 10:15 a.m. with a ribbon cutting with the Donelson Hermitage Chamber of Commerce. On July 18, an official grand opening celebration will feature a station appearance from 107.5 The River from 6 to 8 p.m., complete with free pie giveaways.
