Pie Five Pizza Co.debuting 'Magic Mushroom' pizza

Pie Five Pizza Co. is celebrating "National Mushroom Month" with a limited time offer pizza available Sept. 3.

Pie Five Pizza Co. will introduce its new "Magic Mushroom" pizza on Sept. 3 to kick off "National Mushroom Month," according to a company press release. The pizza features alfredo sauce, grilled chicken and caramelized onions, mozzarella cheese, balsamic drizzle and crimini, and white button mushrooms. The "Magic Mushroom" will be a menu option until Oct. 11.

"Pie Five customers are going to love the new Magic Mushroom pizza," said Patty Scheibmeir, Pie Five VPof R&D and product innovation. "We take our time creating limited time pizzas that introduce new flavor profiles to our guests — the 'Magic Mushroom' is a creamy, delicious, fresh tasting pie that hits all the right notes."
