August 19, 2015

Pie Five Pizza is opening its 16th north Texas location this week, with a unit in Flower Mound in the Dallas-Forth Worth area. The store will host a Sweet 16 party to celebrate its newest location at 3701 Justin Road, according to a press release.

"We've opened stores all over the country this year, but hitting sweet sixteen in our hometown is a reason to celebrate — and parties are always bigger in Texas," said Randy Gier, CEO of Rave Restaurant Group, Inc., of which Pie Five Pizza is a subsidiary. "We celebrate individualism and take pride in crafting pizza the right way. Everything from our hand-cut veggies to our homemade desserts can make customers feel good about what they are eating at Pie Five."

Pie Five customers will have the chance to meet Deuce from the Frisco Roughriders baseball team at 5:30 p.m. Aug. 21, according to the release. Pie Five will also be giving 50 percent of pre-opening day proceeds to Marcus High School. The grand-opening celebration will continue from 6 to 8 p.m., Aug. 28, with $5 pizzas at all Dalls-Fort Worth locations.

Pie Five opened its first location in Fort Worth's historic Montgomery Plaza in 2011. The Flower Mound location is the chain's 58th location.
