Pie Five has opened a Garden City, Kansas location on Fleming Street, making its debut Monday as the first restaurant with the brand's Goldilocks Project prototype, a news release said. The design features 50 seats and sleek digital menu boards and the Garden City location is the first to use the NCR cloud-based POS.
This is the ninth Kansas restaurant for the brand and is operated by franchisees Greg Trejo and Tim Long.
"We are in a great location in front of the Sequoyah movie theater and we have hired an amazing team who will join us in serving our customizable pizzas to everyone in Garden City," Trejo said. "The new technology will help us improve the Pie Five experience, enabling us to become the go-to destination for fresh pizza in the area."
The restaurant also has a drive-thru and features the brand's three crust styles on its menu, including gluten-free cauliflower crust. The Rave Restaurant Group-owned brand is among the 300 stores under the Pie Fiive and Pizza Inn names in the group.
