Pizza Connection fugitive arrested
November 4, 2007
New York Post: Enrico "Kiko" Frigerio, a 20-year fugitive who was unaware that he was still under federal indictment, was arrested by FBI agents when he stepped off a plane at New York's JFK Airport. Frigerio was assisting a Swiss TV crew filming a documentary about his life.
Frigerio had been implicated in the Pizza Connection drug-ring case, where pizzerias around the United States had been used as fronts to move more than $1 billion worth of heroin in the mid-1980s.
