Pizza delivery driver ambushed, thieves get $20

KANSAS CITY, Mo.—A pizza delivery driver was beaten and robbed while trying to take an order to an apartment complex on Feb. 16.

According to KMBC.com, the Pizza Hut driver was in an elevator and going up to the apartment, and when the doors opened, he was struck in the head with a brick. As many as seven other young men joined in the attack, hitting the driver with a bat and stealing about $20.

The driver did not suffer serious injuries.
