The Post-Tribune: A 32-year-old pizza delivery man was hit in the head and robbed at gunpoint late on the night of Dec. 7 as he attempted to deliver a food order.
Merrillville, Ind., police Capt. James Donahue said the Domino's Pizza delivery driver was fulfilling an order called in from a Mobil service station. The caller said to bring the pizza to a residence.
At 10:35 p.m., when the driver arrived at the house, a black man in his early to mid-20s driving a dark-colored Buick pulled up behind him and said he lived at that residence.
The 6-foot-tall man in a blue coat with gray sleeves then swung a shotgun into view and aimed at the driver, ordering him to fall to the ground on his knees.
