Pizza driver robbed, splashed with chemicals

The News Record: A Burlington, N.C. delivery driver suffered burns to his eyes after a man threw a cup of unknown chemicals in his face during a robbery on the night of Jan. 23, according to a police report.

About 9:15 p.m., the Papa John's driver was making a delivery when a man and a woman approached him. The man threw a cup of chemicals into the driver's face, stole his two pizzas and the pair fled.
