Pizza Fusion Mesa receives LEED certification

Organic pizza chain Pizza Fusion has been awarded LEED Silver certification by the United States Green Building Council for its Mesa, Ariz., restaurant. The recognition makes Pizza Fusion the first LEED certified restaurant in Arizona.
Pizza Fusion's Mesa eco-elements include countertops made from recycled concrete and glass, soy-stained concrete floors, tables made from renewable Kirei wood, eco-friendly paints, and insulation made from recycled blue jeans, among other items.
