Pizza Guys expands in Texas with Fort Worth location

Pizza Guys has signed a lease for its second Texas restaurant, bringing the Sacramento, California-based pizza franchise to Fort Worth. The new location is expected to open in early 2027 and will be owned and operated by longtime friends and business partners Kapil Pantha and Tara Rai, the company announced in a news release.

The Fort Worth restaurant follows Pizza Guys' Texas debut in Plano in 2025 and marks the beginning of Pantha and Rai's plans to develop a multi-unit operation. Both partners bring experience in restaurants, customer service and operations, with backgrounds spanning convenience stores, logistics and technology.

"Kapil and Tara bring exactly the kind of partnership and community spirit that makes a Pizza Guys location thrive," Shahpour Nejad, CEO and founder of Pizza Guys, said in the release. "From our very first conversations with them, it was clear how much they valued the guidance and support our team offers, and that same care is exactly what they'll bring to Fort Worth."

The expansion comes as Pizza Guys celebrates its 40th anniversary and surpasses 100 locations systemwide. The franchise continues to pursue growth across California, Nevada and Texas, emphasizing franchisee support, quality ingredients and community-focused service.
