Pizza Hut ads to focus on 'eating machine' customers

WichitaBusiness Journal: After years of advertisements focused on moms and family dinners, Pizza Hutis targeting the "eating machines" that consume large quantities of its products by increasing its sports marketing efforts.
 
"We walked away from people who eat a lot pizza," said Hal McCoy II, owner and president of Wichita-based Restaurant Management Co., a Pizza Hut franchisee. "We walked away from sports."
