Pizza Hut honors Honest Abe's 200th birthday

DALLAS -- Starting Feb. 12, Abraham Lincoln's 200th birthday, Pizza Hut is giving customers a one-topping medium pizza for a penny with purchase of a large pizza at menu price. "Abe Lincoln is synonymous with the penny, so we thought offering a medium-one topping pizza for one cent was the perfect way to celebrate a great American," aid Scott Bergren, Pizza Hut president.
Medium sizes of The Natural, Hand-Tossed Style, Pan Pizza and Pizza Hut's value pizza Pizza Mia are all included in the Penny Pizza Deal.
