Wichita State University is hosting a grand opening April 25 at its Pizza Hut Museum on the Innovation Campus, according to a press release.
The chain's initial founders, Dan and Frank Carney, will speak at the ribbon-cutting and reception, and those who donated to the WSU Foundation's $1.2 million campaign to relocate the small brick building on the campus and turn it into a museum may attend the private opening, along with who the school called Pizza Hut's company friends.
Speakers include the school officials and its foundation's president, as well as Pizza Hut Franchisee Bill Wash and Pizza Hut U.S. President Artie Starrs.
The museum will open to the public April 30.
