Pizza Hut sponsors poker championship series

SANTA MONICA, Calif. — According to a news release, GSN, the network for games, is expanding its poker business with a sponsorship from Pizza Hut.

Pizza Hut is sponsoring an exclusive six-episode series called Poker Royale: The WPPA Championship, which begins Dec. 7.

Pizza Hut, which recently introduced the "Full House XL Pizza," will be the title sponsor of the "Full House" poker tip of the day, which will be included in each episode, the release noted. GSN will have a sweepstakes for which the winner of the poker tip of the day will get a chance to split $10 million with the poker tourney winner. Pizza Hut also is offering a year's supply of pizza to the tourney winner and a viewer at home, after a drawing during the final episode, Jan. 11.
