Pizza Hut to reward basketball upset

DALLAS — This year, if a No. 16 seed defeats a No. 1 seed in the NCAA basketball tournament, Pizza Hut will give away 300,000 free slices of its new Pizza Mia pizza to currently enrolled students and active faculty members at the school of the No. 16 seed before the academic year concludes. The 300,000 slices are the equivalent of nearly 38,000 one-topping Pizza Mia pizzas.
Since 1985, 92 men's college basketball teams earning the No. 16 seed have battled No. 1 seeds, and all 92 have come home in defeat.
Redemption details will be publicized at the winning school after the upset.
