Pizza Inn adds six Express locations in January

Feb. 4, 2014

Six new Pizza Inn Express restaurants opened in January across three states.

Flash Market Inc. added to its roster of Pizza Inn franchises in Alabama, Arkansas and Tennessee by opening four new Pizza Inn Express locations last month alone, according to a news release. Three are in Arkansas (Brinkley, Trumann and Wynne), and the other is in Clarkton, Mo.

A fifth Pizza Inn Express, owned by franchisee Yasin Mohammad, began operations in Jarrell, Texas. And Alfonso Montalvo opened a unit in late January Hebbronville, Texas. These openings mark a record number of openings in a single month in recent company history.

"It's been an exciting month at Pizza Inn, with all the new openings and opportunities for continued expansion arising every day," said Randy Gier, CEO. "Flash Market has been an outstanding, and highly successful, franchise partner of ours since 2009. Our entire franchise team came together to ensure the success of all these openings, and they are prepared to keep the growth momentum going in the months ahead."

Flash Market owns and operates more than 85 convenience-store locations across the Southeast, with 35 different restaurant concepts represented. In addition to the units opened in January, the company operates one Pizza Inn restaurant in Lebanon, Tenn., another in Cave City, Ark., a location in Saraland, Ala., and two units in Marion, Ark.
