Pizza Inn has revamped its Mesquite, Texas, location with a fully modernized design that marks a step forward for the brand's next chapter of growth, according to a press release.
First opened in 1966, the restaurant has been redesigned with expanded seating, an enhanced back-fed buffet for improving flow and freshness and a brighter, more contemporary dining environment.
The brand will host a kickoff party for the redesign, beginning with a ribbon-cutting at 11 a.m. on March 5, followed by community-focused celebrations throughout the weekend. Guests can expect prize giveaways, a spin-to-win wheel, family activities and special promotions as the restaurant reintroduces Mesquite to a refreshed and elevated dining experience.
The Mesquite location is helmed by the Hemani family, who has invested in the remodel as part of the brand's effort to drive systemwide modernization while elevating the guest experience and staying true to its heritage.
"Our family has been part of this community for years, and being able to reinvest in this restaurant in a way that honors its history while elevating the experience for today's guests is incredibly meaningful to us," Ali Hemani, Pizza Inn Mesquite franchisee, said in the release. "We want families who grew up coming here to feel at home again, and we are excited for them to experience the improvements in comfort, quality and atmosphere that Pizza Inn has today."
"The DFW area is more than just a home base for us; it's where Pizza Inn first started," Brandon Solano, CEO of Pizza Inn, said in the release. "Our responsibility is not only to honor our legacy, but to continue evolving it. Seeing a family-owned restaurant like Mesquite transform and reinvest in its community demonstrates how Pizza Inn is building momentum for the future while staying deeply rooted in the neighborhoods that made us who we are."
Pizza Inn is a buffet concept founded in 1958.
