Pizza Inn signs 13 deals for franchised U.S. restaurants

July 20, 2009

Pizza Inn has signed 13 new deals through its development incentive program, the company has announced. In addition, Pizza Inn has one new corporate-owned location under construction in Fort Worth, Texas, and has signed letters of intent for two additional locations in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex.

Offered to both new and existing franchisees, the incentive program was designed to maximize potential for domestic growth and offer flexible alternatives for franchisees who may be discouraged by the current credit crisis. The benefits included no royalty payments for the first full year of operation and 2 percent royalty payments for the second full year.

Two current Pizza Inn franchisees have signed agreements to open five locations in the greater Spartanburg, S.C., area, while other existing franchisees will be opening locations in southern North Carolina, Knoxville, Tenn., Ardmore, Okla., and Pontotoc, Miss.   Three new franchise groups have signed on to develop locations in Abilene, Texas, Ft. Worth, Texas, and Jesup, Ga.

Pizza Inn has introduced a new branding campaign developed by Boulder, Colo.-based TDA Advertising & Design, according to the Dallas Business Journal. The campaign revolves around the tagline "One thing any family can agree on."
