Pizza Inn's PIE debuts in Louisiana

Pizza Inn Express opened its first Louisiana location late last week in Lafayette. The new PIE store on West Pont Des Mouton Road is located in the new Exxon On the Run, a news release said. 

Licensees, Sophie and Jarrod Guidry, operate the unit, which was created as a sub-brand of Pizza Inn to give diners a quicker option to enjoy some of Pizza Inn's offerings.

"We're excited to give our community a new brand of pizza that is fast, fresh and easy to access on the go," Sophie Guidry said in the release. "PIE adds delicious variety to our new convenience store offerings. We're looking forward to our partnership with Pizza Inn."

This location is Pizza Inn's first deal with convenience store and foodservice equipment provider, Fortier, Inc. It is the tenth PIE location system-wide and among nearly 300 Pizza Inn and Pie Five locations in operation under the Rave Restaurant Group.
