Pizza Nova launches cell phone promo

TORONTO -- Canadian pizza chain Pizza Nova, which operates more than 100 locations throughout southern Ontario, plans to measure customer satisfaction of their pizza through text messages sent by their customers, beginning at the Toronto International Film Festival.
 
Pizza Nova will have its Street Patrol taste-testing team at the TIFF giving out new pizza slices for customers to taste and rate on their cell phones.
 
Customers can text in the flavor of their pizza and include an approval rating that ranges from 'absolutely like' to 'don't like.' Participants will receive notifications via their cell phones of sales at their local Pizza Nova restaurants in the coming months.
 
Pizza Nova partnered with marketing agency Broadplay Inc. for the promotion.
