Pizza Patrón brings back 'Mexican-inspired' pizzas

For 13 weeks from October 2, 2014 to January 3, 2015, Pizza Patrón is bringing back the LTO combo, the company announced.

The combo includes La Toluqeña and La Choriquezo, two Mexican-inspired large specialty pizzas.

Featuring pepperoni and ham, the Toluqueña pizza is made with Pizza Patrón's "Toluqueño-style" chorizo instead of Italian sausage. La Choriquezo comes with extra mozzarella cheese, chorizo sausage and onions on the company's spicy ranch sauce and is inspired by a traditional Latin American appetizer.

"Our customers want and expect to find Mexican and Latin American flavors from us that they cannot get at traditional pizza outlets," said Andrew Gamm, brand director for Pizza Patrón, in a company press release. "We are committed to providing our guests with unique pizza options, and this specialty pie combo delivers on what we do best, 'más pizza' for 'menos dinero.'"
