Pizza Patron rebrands for growth

January 29, 2018

The 90-location Pizza Patrón concept is relaunching with a new logo, visuals and updated website and online ordering platform. The refresh is meant to help drive growth in existing markets and signals a renewed push in the concept's pursuit of customers who want "cultural experiences and influences beyond pizza," a news release said.

"The relaunch of our brand signifies the start of a new era at Pizza Patrón as we focus on providing flavor-packed pizza to the masses," CEO Charles Loflin said in the release. "It's a new look — one that's colorful and edgy."

Loflin and brand President Partyka purchased the franchise in late 2016 from founder Antonio Swad with plans to modernize its look and feel, including the addition of an email club later this year, the release said.

Over the last year, the brand has worked with Midwest ad agency, Barkley and its recently hired CMO Stephanie Yzaguirre to achieve the rebranding — including reimagining the logo while retaining elements that included the Patrón's hat and mustache.
