Pizza, Pizza begins Vancouver expansion

Canadian pizza chain, Pizza Pizza, has opened a store in New Westminster, kicking off a planned expansion throughout Greater Vancouver in British Columbia. The Sixth Street location will lead a series of openings over the next 15 months in the city of Vancouver, as well as Burnaby and Surrey, a news release said.

"The Pizza Pizza brand has an incredible existing customer base across Canada, so we are thrilled to begin offering a new pizza option for British Columbians, that the rest of the country knows and loves," CEO Paul Goddard, said in the release. 

The planned stores in Burnaby include a Lougheed Highway location, while the Vancouver store will open on Cornwall Avenue, as well as stores in North Van, Surrey and Delta, the release said. The quick-service pizza brand has more than 750 locations across Canada and is offering a cauliflower pizza crust option.
