Pizza promo benefits library

PUNXSUTAWNEY, Pa. — Scott Anthony of Fox's Pizza Denin Punxautawney, Pa., commemorated the restaurant's 28th anniversary by raising funds for the Punxsutawney Memorial Library. Fox's Pizza Den offered a one-day special of an extra-large pepperoni pizza for $5.99, with 28 percent of the proceeds going back to the library.
Fox's Pizza Den sold more than 900 pizzas during the event. Library trustees delivered the pizzas, and any tips they received also went back to the library.
Fox's Pizza Den will be offering a free pizza for anyone who gets a library card for the Punxsutawney Memorial Library this week.
