Pizza Ranch has opened the barn doors on restaurant No. 200, this one in Sterling, Illinois, a news release said. The buffet-based pizza restaurant also features a strong community commitment for the locations where its restaurants are located.
"While we definitely take pride in our delicious food, what matters most to us is the way that Pizza Ranch locations become more than just restaurants in communities — they become local hang-outs that bring people together," Pizza Ranch co-founder and President Adrie Groeneweg, said in a news release. "When we opened the doors of our first restaurant more than 35 years ago, we never imagined the impact we would have in so many of the communities that we now serve."
Pizza Ranch restaurants partner with schools, churches, non-profits and other groups to host fundraisers and social functions. Locations also host Community Impact Nights with local organizations' members serving guests to bring in donations for their individual causes.
"The proven systems and processes that we have in place are collectively moving our entire company forward," added Groeneweg. "Our franchisees are motivated by the impact they are having in their communities, which parallels our company’s mission and values."
Pizza Ranch recently opened sites in Oak Park Heights, Minnesota, St. Joseph, Missouri, and Galesburg, Illinois.
