Pizza shop workers shot during robbery

December 17, 2002

OKLAHOMA CITY -- Two employees of a Little Caesars pizza shop were critically wounded when a pair of gunmen robbed the store at 8:30 p.m. on Dec. 16

According to the Oklahoman, an unidentified 27-year-old male employee was shot in the chest, and an unidentified 24-year-old male employee was shot in the abdomen.

Three employees working in the back of the store gave only partial descriptions of the attackers because both wore ski masks, said Police Sgt. Jeff Pierce.

Pierce said money strewn about the floor, along with an abandoned ski mask, pointed to a struggle between the robbers and the employees.

A witness told police a maroon Cadillac sped away from the restaurant, but no one saw the vehicle's tag number.
