Pizza shops battle over 'buy one, get one free' phrase

Associated Press: Owners of two Elyria, Ohio, pizzerias are going to court over the right to use a well-worn pizza industry phrase: "Buy one, get one free."

The war of words flared last year when Fred Peters' The Original Pizza Pan put a store across the street from Joe Monteleone Jr.'s Master Pizza. Monteleone claims he has trademarked the phrase and that Peters can't use it.
