PizzaRev awards franchisee 2 California territories

PizzaRev has awarded two key growth areas in Central Valley and Southern California to one of its current franchisees in the state, Ajay Maini, who plans to open locations in Kern and Orange counties, a news release said. 

Maini is an experienced multi-unit and brand restaurant franchisee, who now operates three PizzaRev stores in Bakersfield and Palmdale, California, along with a number of sandwich brand franchise locations. 

"Ajay's industry experience and operations knowhow has been integral to establishing his Bakersfield and Palmdale restaurants as local favorites," said Tyan Swanson, senior manager of marketing and franchise sales at PizzaRev. "His existing connections in the community and previous success in the restaurant franchising industry made him the ideal PizzaRev partner," PizzaRev Senior Manager of Marketing and Franchise Sales Tyan Swanson, said in the release. "It is great to see our footprint growing in the Central Valley and we're excited to help Ajay expand PizzaRev's presence in Southern California, as well."

The chain did not disclose the exact location or anticipated opening dates for the new stores under Maini's operationPizzaRev now has 42 locations across Mexico and nine U.S. states.
