For the second year in a row, PizzaRev claimed a top spot in the 2015 Top 100 Movers and Shakers ranking published by FastCasual.com, the company announced. The fast casual pizza concept earned the No. 15 spot in the annual list of the industry’s most significant brand and trends, up from No. 16 in last year’s ranking.
Fast Casual selected PizzaRev from a pool of 900 nominations from FastCasual.com readers. The site recognized PizzaRev for securing a partnership with Buffalo Wild Wings, expanding to 27 locations in just three years and operational initiatives such as increasing its ingredient offerings and launching a comprehensive nutrition and allergen portal for guests.
"We are honored to be recognized among the top restaurants and trends shaping the fast casual segment," Rodney Eckerman, co-founder and co-CEO of PizzaRev, said in a statement. "We are in the midst of a food revolution, where consumers demand and deserve more healthful food options from national restaurant brands, and we’ve made it our mission to lead the better pizza movement."
