Pizzeria faces shutdown over bad checks

The News-Enterprise (Elizabethtown, Ky.): James Thompson, the manager of Brooklyn Pizza, said the pizzeria is considering offers from potential buyers. The sale is necessary after a former partner in the business wrote more than $80,000 in bad checks against the business' account and the account of the former partner.
Mary Ann Wright, 23, was arrested on forgery and theft charges. She was later released from jail on an unsecured $75,000 bond.
