Pizzeria owner acquitted in murder-for-hire

New York Daily News:A Brooklyn jury has acquitted a pizzeria owner of cooking up a plan to gun down a mob loan shark and his cousin.
Carmine Polito, 48, was acquitted after a five-week trial in Brooklyn Supreme Court. Polito was convicted in the case in 2003, but that decision was overturned on a technicality.
