The Monterey Herald: Two armed robbers dressed in black forced a half dozen employees and customers of a Salinas, Calif., pizza parlor onto the floor Monday night while they rifled through the cash register and pilfered from customers' pockets.
Salinas police said one robber carried a sawed-off shotgun and the other had a handgun when they rushed into Mountain Mike's Pizza shortly before 9 p.m.
A shift supervisor, who declined to give her name, said a customer went out a back door shortly before the robbers entered through that door, which had been propped open.
