Pizzeria sued over driver death
June 10, 2007
Daily Herald (Chicago): The family of a pizza delivery driver murdered last November has sued the owner of the pizzeria where she worked. Karen Hassan, 41, who worked at Rosati's Pizza in St. Charles, Ill., was sent to a vacant lot where Bradley M. Justice allegedly beat her to death with a hammer and stole $300.
Hassan's son claims in the suit that the parlor was not carrying workers' compensation insurance as required by Illinois law and for allowing the delivery to a "vacant, closed and unlit industrial lot" in the first place.
