Precious Brand Cheese merges under Sorrento Brand

Lactalis Culinary has announced that its Precious and Sorrento cheese brands will be combined into one national brand in foodservice — Sorrento mozzarella cheeses.

The company said the brands represent 60 years of tradition, and combining them under one brand will strengthen recognition and loyalty among foodservice industry operators.

Both the Precious and Sorrento brands follow the Italian Pasta Filata style of classic mozzarella cheese, according to a news release. As the Precious brand transitions under Sorrento, foodservice operators will not experience any changes to the formula.
