Rapid Fired raises tornado relief funds Thursday

June 11, 2019

Dayton, Ohio-area based Rapid Fired Pizza is raising funds Thursday, June 13, to help residents in the area who suffered damage in a recent series of tornadoes on Memorial Day, a news release said.

The brand will donate $1 to the Dayton Foundation Greater Dayton Disaster Relief Fund for every regular-sized entree purchased Thursday.

"With so many people affected by the 15 tornados that hit the region, we felt it was our duty as members of these communities to give back and help support them the way they have supported us as they begin to rebuild," Rapid Fired Pizza Vice President Kelly Gray, said in the release.

The 32-store Midwest chain features an assortment of offerings that cater to special dietary needs and preferences, including vegan, low-carb, low-calorie and gluten-free pies.
