Record Super Bowl TD pass to net free wings at Papa John's Pizza
January 23, 2007
LOUISVILLE, Ky. — To promote its new spicy wings and its online ordering site,
Papa John's has launched a contest in which it will give away free wings should a quarterback throw a record-length touchdown pass during the Feb. 4 Super Bowl.
According to a news release, customers must register for the contest at papajohns.com/wingit by 6 p.m. Feb. 4. During the game, should a quarterback top the Super Bowl record touchdown pass of 85 yards — a feat accomplished in the Jan. 21 playoff game between the Chicago Bears and the New Orleans Saints — all eligible entrants will win a free order of Papa's Wings, redeemable online at papajohns.com.
Papa John's offers advance ordering through its Web site, which allows customers to plan ahead as far as 21 days for a pizza delivery.
